IMPORTANT SELF CARE THINGS OBTAINED.
Do you know what leads to deep guilt and negative self talk? When people demand you tell them why you need to do certain things. Like paint your nails.
I doubt you really want me to tell you why I paint my nails. You just want me to feel bad.
And guess what? I SHAN’T! In fact, I hope you manage to find adequate time and peace to create your own self care rituals. It’s super important. We all deserve them. Even you, Judgy McButtface.

Yeah so this is one of the main issues I’ve had since moving into this house. I’ve had people guilt and shame me for such things as taking baths, buying groceries I enjoy (as opposed to the vegan, all-veg-and-carbs meals we cook as a house), spending more than $2 on shampoo, asking people to not scream at the top of their lungs at midnight so I can sleep, and so on. I’m apparently supposed to live in a cardboard box and feel continuous pressing guilt for any luxuries that happen to come my way.
